LBPC is owned and operated by Laura Waller, an AICP Certified Planner with over six years of experience in development planning and two years of focused study on transportation infrastructure as part of her master’s degree program. Laura has diverse work experience, including Project Management for the Federal Railroad Administration, engaging in volunteer planning for a community of less than 300, and holding a full-time Development Planner for a community of over 130,000. As a member of the Texas APA Chapter, Laura has also presented on urban planning topics to fellow Planners, Elected Officials, and the Public.
Sandy Point
Laura currently volunteers as the City Planner for her hometown of Sandy Point, Texas. In her role, she has been instrumental in development planning, negotiating Development Agreements, writing sign regulations, and editing zoning, subdivision, and thoroughfare ordinances.
TxAPA Conference
Laura's study on parking regulations, which relates to zoning regulations and transportation infrastructure, was presented at the 2023 Texas APA Conference. Laura attends the annual conference to stay current on development, infrastructure, and other planning practices.
